Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937)|
Courvoisier cel of Bashful.
Bashful’s face reddens with a sweet blush as he uses his long beard as a mask. This pose of one of Snow White’s sweetest drawfs perfectly portrays his character and the adjective that lent him his name.
The framed piece measures 15.25" x 12.75" with the aperture measuring 6.75" x 4.5".
Cel has become slightly wavy which is fairly common for vintage animation cels. The light reflection is only visible in the web image only and is not on the actual piece. There is evidence of very slight lifting on the characters feet and legs with no paint loss. The cel appears slightly cloudy around the character with a white powder-like residue near the character’s right arm and above the head.
Framing was done prior to its arrival at WWA thus the list price is reflective of the art only--the piece comes with the frame pictured. There is no change in price due to the frame--it can be de-framed upon request at purchase but will not change the price of the piece.
The size of the image is 4.5" h x 4.25" w.
