Dumbo (1941) Courvoisier cel of Some Clown Firemen. There are 11 clowns shown here in this scene, part of Dumbo's act when he is forced to leap from the burning building in the Big Top. This is a wonderful, colorful cel filled with funny clown faces, mouths, and expressions. The image measures 7.5" x 10.25" while the matte measures 13" x 15". Cel has become slightly wavy which is fairly common for vintage animation cels. The light reflection is visible in the web image only and is not on the actual piece. Some paint separation has occurred throughout a significant portion of the cel, but there is only a miniscule amount of paint loss along the blue in the clown's pants on the extreme left. The size of the image is 5.25" h x 9.5" w. WDCCS35
