The Jungle Book (1967) Production cel of Shere Khan. Shere Kahn cocks his head and raises his ear to listen for unfamiliar sounds in the dense jungle. The frame measures 15.25" x 20" while the aperture measures 8.25" x 13". Cel is slightly wavy which is fairly common for animation cels of this age. There is evidence of paint cracking and lifting in a small area on the character’s lower back and slight paint lifting on the upper right side of the head but there is no paint loss. Framing was done prior to its arrival at WWA thus the list price is reflective of the art only--the piece comes with the frame pictured. There is no change in price due to the frame--it can be de-framed upon request at purchase but will not change the price of the piece. The size of the image is 7.25" h x 8" w.
