Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937) Courvoisier cel of Grumpy. Poor Grumpy is the odd man out when it comes to automatically trusting the young princess Snow White. Here he is seen reaching from the confines of his Courvoisier background to point an admonishing finger to whatever thing he is currently displeased with. The artwork measures 5" x 6".
As visible in the image, there are a few areas of paint loss, in the nose as well as in the beard and a tiny area in the back of the head. There is a significant amount of paint separation in the face, cheek, and hat which was taken into account when pricing this piece .
