Pinocchio (1940) Courvoisier cel of Jiminy Cricket. This is a fun Courvoisier cel of Jiminy taking a small respite in his umbrella. Typically we see Pinocchio’s conscience alert and on vigil. This is a rare departure from his typical depiction. This is a very nicely sized Jiminy! The frame measures 16.5" x 15" while the aperture measures 8" x 7". Cel has become slightly wavy which is fairly common for vintage animation cels. The light reflection is only visible in the web image only and is not on the actual piece. There is the faintest amount of paint mottling in the gloves. Framing was done prior to its arrival at WWA thus the list price is reflective of the art only--the piece comes with the frame pictured. There is no change in price due to the frame--it can be de-framed upon request at purchase but will not change the price of the piece. The size of the image is 6.5" h x 4.5" w.
