Ferdinand the Bull (1938)|
Courvoisier cel of Ferdinand.
The frame measures 17.75" x 18.50" inches, while the aperture measures 10.25" x 10" inches.
The cel has become slightly wavy, which is common for production material of this kind. Please note that the light reflection visible in the web image is not on the piece itself. There is evidence of some slight staining in the matte, with a 1" inch and 9" inch stain along the lower edge. There is evidence of some minor foxing throughout the matte. There is evidence of some mottling throughout Ferdinand's snout, his mop of hair, in his eyes, and in his chest. As visible in the web image, there is an approximately 1" inch area of discoloration in Ferdinand's snout. There is evidence of some very slight paint separation, with minimal lifting, in Ferdinand's gray hair and in his horns. There is evidence of some very slight adhesive residue running along the upper edge and left edge of the cel.
Framing was done prior to its arrival at WWA thus the list price is reflective of the art only--the piece comes with the frame pictured. There is no change in price due to the frame--it can be de-framed upon request at purchase but will not change the price of the piece.
The size of the image is 8.25" h x 7.75" w.
