Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937)|
Courvoisier cel of Snow White and the Prince from Snow White.
Just after Snow White sings into the well asking for her prince -her wish is granted! This beautiful Courvoisier cel set-up is particularly exciting because it features our princess in her peasant clothes. For the majority of the film she is in her princess regalia, so this piece is a rare find.
The framed piece measures 15.75" x 17.25" with the aperture measuring 5" x 6".
Cel is slightly wavy which is fairly common for vintage animation cels. The light reflection is only visible in the web image only and is not on the actual piece. The bird characters are trimmed from their original cel and re-applied to the cel with Snow White and The Prince. There is some very slight specks of line wear throughout and there is evidence of very slight lifting in Snow White's fingers with a miniscule speck of paint loss in her left pinky.
