The Jungle Book (1967)|
Disneyland cel set-up of Shere Khan and Kaa.
The cel has been trimmed to measure 10.0" x 12.0" and comes with the original backing with Disneyland Art Corner seal.
The cels are slightly wavy, common for animation cels of this age, and has caused some light reflection that is visible in the web image only. The cels are glued and taped to the background and board at the upper left corner, lower right corner and left and lower edges; these can be easily matted out. There are darkened specks of residue and adhesive residue along the edges which can be matted out. There is evidence of two staple holes halfway down the left edge which can be easily matted out. There is a 2" x 0.75" area of cel loss at the lower left corner of the character cel with Kaa. There are some miniscule specks of paint loss in the body of the character Kaa and line loss in the green lines throughout the character’s body. There is light lifting of 0.5" x 0.5" in the right shoulder of the character Shere Khan with a speck of lifting in the left shoulder.
