Bambi (1942) Courvoisier cel of Thumper and Mrs. Rabbit. Here we see Thumper, the comic hit of the movie, animated by Ollie Johnston and Frank Thomas, rendered amazingly cute in a beautiful blue-gray tone with a pink-brown tummy, a fluffy face, and protruding buck teeth. Seeing Thumper together with his mother, Mrs. Rabbit, recalls the moment in the film where after Thumper sees Bambi taking his first steps says: "he doesn't walk very well does he?" Immediately after Mrs. Rabbit responds with, " Thumper, What did your father tell you this morning?" Thumper answers, "If you can't say anything nice…[thinks hard and fast]…don't say anything at all. Framed in a dramatic high-end museum quality ensemble carefully chosen to match the scene of the piece. The piece comes with the frame pictured.
