Ferdinand the Bull (1938) Courvoisier cel of A Matador and a girl. The aperture measures 10.5" x 8.5" while the matte measures 16.75" x 20".
The matte has discolored due to age and exhibits wear at the corners and edges. As visible in the web image, the matte has incurred significant water stains. There is evidence of slight paint lifting throughout the characters and very faint spots of mottling on the matador’s hat. There is some white powdery residue at the upper right corner. Visible upon close inspection is a faint crack 0.12" long in the paint of the character’s left leg.
