Mother Goose Goes Hollywood (1938) Production cel of Charlie Mccarthy. This wonderful piece is brilliantly colored and has an excellent composition as well. From the scene with W.C. Fields as Humpty Dumpty, where he says, "My Little Chickadeeee." The paint has been professionally restored. The majority of the paint is original. Paint in a few small areas has been professionally restored. There are a few small areas of paint separation. They are only really visible upon close examination, most notably on the extreme left side of his face and around the collar of his shirt. The Cel has become slightly wavy which is not uncommon for vintage animation cels. The light reflection is only visible in the web image only and is not on the actual piece. There is evidence of two staple holes near the upper corners, as well as evidence of tape along the extreme top edge and both extreme side edges. All of these can easily be matted out..
