Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937) Courvoisier cel of The Wicked Witch. After creating the cursed apple for Snow White, the Witch takes a little moment to taunt her raven with it (as seen 1 hour, 3 minutes, and 29 minutes into the film*); "have a bite!" The cel has been trimmed to a size of approximately 7.5"H by 7.25"W, and the frame measures approximately 17"H by 16"W. Price is reflective of art only--the piece comes with the frame pictured. There is no change in price due to the frame--it can be deframed upon request at purchase but will not change the price of the piece. The cel is a bit wavy which is characteristic of vintage production cels such as these. There are minute, hairline paint separation around the shaded (deep red) part of the apple, one in the middle finger of the left hand, and in two minute areas on the periphery of the Witch's nose. There are minute (1/4") areas of discoloration on the Witch's shoulder and on the top of her hood. These should not be noticeable once mounted and viewed on a wall; if desired, restoration is possible..
The size of the image is 4" h x 3.5" w. US$ 5600 (framed) WDC1069
