Dumbo (1941) Courvoisier cel of Dumbo. Dumbo prepares to make a soft landing on Mrs. Jumbo near the film's end (about 1 hour, 3 minutes, and 11 seconds) after the world discovers and celebrates his amazing ability to fly! Since the original Courvoisier background became faded over time (you can see the image of it above), we placed Dumbo with a more colorful high quality print background. The original Courvoisier background will still accompany the cel and you can choose to display it either way. Framing was done prior to its arrival at WWA thus the list price is reflective of the art only--the piece comes with the frame pictured. There is no change in price due to the frame--it can be de-framed upon request at purchase but will not change the price of the piece. The viewing aperture measures approximately 5.5"H by 6.5"W, and the overall piece measures about 10.5"H by 14"W matted and framed. This piece comes with the Courvoisier Gallery label attached to the paper backing of the frame. The paint has been professionally restored. There is some slight waviness of the cel, which is characteristic of classic vintage cels such as this.. The size of the image is 3.5" h x 5" w.
