The Ugly Duckling (1939) Courvoisier cel of Mother Duck, some ducklings and Father Duck. Mother and father ducks marvel at their newly hatched family! This is easily one of the best pieces from this film we have ever had. An absolute must have moment from The Ugly Duckling. This is their happiest time when after waiting for so long, proud Mother and Father Duck's eggs finally hatch and out come their four precious ducklings--this is also of course the moment right before the fifth egg hatches premiering the Ugly Duckling and the seeds are sown for domestic dissent: as the father points out that the chick looks nothing like him. Price is reflective of art only--the piece comes with the frame pictured. There is no change in price due to the frame--it can be deframed upon request at purchase but will not change the price of the piece. This piece measures 20" square framed. This piece has very minor rippling and paint separation on Father Duck's red back and on some of Mother Duck's fingers; this is in excellent condition for a piece its age..
