Disney Studios (c. 1940s) Concept piece of Mickey Mouse and Willie the Giant. This concept piece comes from the 1947 Disney classic "Mickey and the Beanstalk." Here the giant is giving a grotesque, ogre-like look, which would be toned down for the actual film. This concept does however get to the heart of The Giant's character, as he is seen tugging on Mickey's ear in a playful child-like manner. There are small pin holes in the left lower and upper corners. The paper shows signs of waviness and has been affixed to a thick brown paper.. The size of the image is 7.5" h x 7" w.
