Fantasia (1940) Concept piece of Some Baby Pegasuses. One of the most remembered sections of Fantasia is the one which involves the baby Pegasuses. This piece illustrates the initial concept for how the Pegasus nest and the Pegasus family should look. Although the coloring was altered for the film, the majority of the original design was maintained, proving how integral the concept art is to the making of the film. This piece has a warm feel to it, in part due to the nurturing nature with which the mother Pegasus in nestling her young, and also because of the soft coloring that was used. The piece measures 8.25" x 11".
As slightly visible in the image, the extreme edges appear to have been cut from a larger page, and this minor imperfection does not effect the image and can easily be matted out...
