Fantasia (1940) Concept piece of Some Centaurettes. These beautiful centaurettes were lovingly crafted by the artist James Bodrero as a concept piece for "Fantasia." While ultimately the centaruettes would have to be adorned with floral brassieres, because of the demands of the Hayes Committee, the bulk of Bodrero's design remained unchanged. Bodrero worked with Disney Studios for several of its classic films, and his influence can be seen in the animation in ways both great and small.
