Cinderella (1950) Production background of A Castle. This piece measures 12" x 15.5". Sweeping in medieval grandeur, this is a supreme example of the Disney background painter’s skill. The castle is lit in intimate detail against the night’s sky, leaving everything else in despondent shadows. As background paintings go through several stages in the course of production, this exact image did not make the final cut. The reverse side is stamped as "Property of Walt Disney Productions," and references the precise film, sequence, and scene numbers for production. There is slight wear around the extreme upper edges as well as the lower left-hand corner.. The size of the image is 3" h x 2.5" w. US$ 10000 (unframed) WDAKM9
