Fantasia (1940) Concept piece of Some Centaurettes. This is a magnificent concept piece from Fantasia’s early production, depicting three centaurette’s shameless self-indulgence. The artwork exhibits delicate attention to detail in a cool gray-tone palette. There is a hauntingly voyeuristic quality to the piece, as we are granted a look into this lush retreat.
The paper has had a tinge of color change around the outer edges only which can be easily matted out. There is evidence of staple holes towards the extremes of the upper left and right hand corners which can be easily matted out. As visible in the image, the extreme lower left corner has been slightly torn, which measures .75" and can easily be matted out as well..
The size of this piece is 12 Field (11"x13") and the size of the image is 4.5" h x 6.25" w. US$ 4000 (unframed) WDAKM10
