Casey Bats Again (1954)
Concept piece of A Caseyette.

This piece is attributed to animator Fred Moore from this follow-up to Casey at the Bat. In this short, Casey had hoped for a son to fill his shoes, but instead had 9 daughters and here is a very attractive slugger, brightly colored and wonderfully rendered. Her stance and grip on the bat is fantastic, not to mention the details of her saddle shoes, socks, and her ready-to-play hair.

There is slight evidence of a fold in the lower right corner, which measures 2", and may easily be matted out. On the reverse of the piece, there is a thin, clear, film backing. There is also evidence of two slight crinkles above her head.

The size of this piece is 12 Field (11"x13") and the size of the image is 6.75" h x 5" w.
US$ 1500  (unframed)
