Peter Pan (1953) Concept piece of Captain Hook, Tiger Lily and Smee. Ominous clouds fill the sky as Hook and Smee kidnap Tiger Lilly and hide her in Skull Rock. Even the beautiful blue seas that typically surround Neverland are dark and dreary to match the captain’s dastardly plan! The jagged rocks and linear clouds are fantastic illustrations of Mary Blair’s use of geometric shapes to emphasize contrasts. The artwork measures 6.75" x 9" while the frame measures 17.5" x 19". Price is reflective of the art only--the piece comes with the frame pictured.
