Song of the South (1946)
Storyboard of Brer Rabbit and the Tar Baby.

Brer Rabbit is counting down the seconds till he has to teach the silent Tar Baby a lesson in respect. There is a tremendous sense of action in this delicately shaded storyboard from Song of the South
The actual storyboard measures 6' x 8.25" while the animation paper measures 7.75" x 9".

The storyboard is stapled in each corner to the backing paper. There are pin holes in the black paper toward the corners, which is quite common for this type of artwork. As visible in the image, there is a slight fold in the extreme lower left corner.
