Song of the South (1946)
Storyboard of Brer Rabbit and the Tar Baby.

The Tar Baby scene from Song of the South is by far one of the most famous and controversial tales told in Disney history. This great storyboard sets the scene for Brer Rabbit’s unfortunate interaction with Brer Fox’s and Brer Bear’s sticky little trick, the Tar Baby.
The actual storyboard measures 6' x 8.25" while the animation paper measures 7.75" x 9".

The storyboard is stapled in each corner to the backing paper. There are pin holes in the black paper toward the corners, which is quite common for this type of artwork.
There is slight wear along the extreme most edge of the paper along the top toward the right corner.
