Bambi (1942) Concept piece of A Chipmunk. This adorable little woodland creature is captured here with a hint of surprise as he peers from the safety of leaves and twigs. This is an incredible example of the artistry of Disney as they struck a perfect balance between nature as it existed and the animated form that was not merely a cartoon, but an animated version of animals with expressions and human emotions. The image measures 5.75" x 7". This concept is pasted onto a standard 12-Field animation page. The concept has very slight discoloration along the extreme edges of the piece, while the animation page exhibits some staining in the upper left corner in addition to signs of slight handling..
