Sleeping Beauty (1959) Concept piece of All Three Fairies and the King and Queen. This is a beautifully detailed drawing of the King and Queen viewed from behind the guards. Looking closely, the three fairies are visible in the King and Queen's presence. The composition of this piece is not only brilliantly laid out, taking place behind the guards, but the drawing also exhibits the close-up shot to be 'zoomed' into in the rectangular box that is rendered. The size of the artwork measures approximately 4" x 10".
As visible in the image, there is evidence of tape residue along the upper edge. There is also evidence of two vertical creases along the 2nd guard from the right. There are two small strips of cloth tape affixed to the extreme top edge on the reverse of the drawing.
