Sleeping Beauty (1959)
Concept piece of Princess Aurora.

This is a marvelous piece of concept art that shows the early visions of Princess Aurora’s wicked enchantment. Etched in charcoal pencil, this haunting scene shows the princess just as she has ascended the secret stairs to the tower where she will prick her self on the needle of the last spinning wheel in the kingdom.
The artwork measures 4" x 10.5".

There is evidence of two small strips of cloth tape on the extreme upper reverse edge of the drawing..
