Fantasia (1940) Concept piece of Ben Ali Gator. This is a concept design of the lead dancing alligator from the Dance of the Hours sequence, exquisitely rendered in pastels. The overall piece measures 10"H by 12"W and has a clear piece of acetate overlay to protect the art. The bottom right edge has the Walt Disney Productions ink stamp and the "WDP" stamp. Comes with the original label from the Courvoisier Galleries. There is a bit of pastel smearing along the contours of the drawing, due to handling during production. There are minute pin holes on each corner and there are two aged tape residues on the upper corners of the paper; these can be easily matted out for display or handling if desired..
