That's My Mommy (1955)|
Production cel of Tom The Cat, Jerry the mouse and a duckling.
The matte measures 16" x 14" inches while the aperture measures 11.50" x 8.50" inches.
As is typical of these types of vintage set-ups, this piece features a hand-painted production background from the same era.
As visible in the web image, there are some areas of very slight discoloration in the matte, which could be easily matted out. There is evidence of some handling on the matte, with a 1.50" inch fold in the lower left corner, a 0.50" inch tear along the left-hand side as visible in the web image, and some mild folding in the upper left corner, all of which could be easily matted out. There are four small, faint drip stains along the lower edge, one faint drip stain along the lefthand side, and a few smaller stains in the matte throughout, as visible in the web image, all of which could be easily matted out. As visible in the web image, some paint separation has occurred, namely throughout Jerry's body with some slight paint loss and cracking. There is some mild paint loss and separation in the duckling, with about a 1" inch line running down his middle where the paint has lifted. There are a few small spots of paint loss in Tom's ears, and there is some paint separation in his left eye. There is some very slight linewear in Tom's left hind leg, the duckling's head and hands, and Jerry's body. There is some extremely slight mottling throughout the piece.
