Nightmare Before Christmas (1993) Storyboard of Jack Skellington. "Is it rotted and covered with gook?" A third party pops out from yet another hat to question whether or not Jack’s stocking is accompanied by a rotting foot. This piece is excellently paired with TBAPB25. The artwork is hand-singed on reverse by Nightmare's Director, Henry Selick. The artwork measures 5.5" x 8.5". There is evidence of pin holes towards the extremes of each corner as well as in the center along the upper extreme edge, which can be easily matted out. As pinning up storyboards for evaluation was often part of the creative process, this is fairly common for this type of work. As slightly visible in the image, there is an incision on the paper between the characters on the left and Jack on the right, most likely affixing a revised character for the scene in the storyboard..
