Nightmare Before Christmas (1993)
Twenty Faces of Jack Sculpture of Jack Skellington. Have you ever seen the set of Jack Skellington head models signed by Tim Burton called the "Twelve Faces of Jack?" Well, this is a set of those same head maquettes except there are 20 different expressions instead of 12 and these were made from the actual molds used in the production! The heads used in the movie were made from molds. Because they were under camera so much and were handled frequently (mounted on the bodies to change facial expressions, etc.) they had to have multiple sets of all of the heads with specific expressions. In fact, there was a ten-person mold-making department on the set that did this for all of the characters. These pieces were made from those molds used in the production, and this set includes twenty different expressions of Jack Skellington, though these heads were not actually under camera--they were made from the original movie molds before they were destroyed but not actually screen-used. We do not know if they are "spares" per se or just extras that were made for people who worked on the movie before the set was struck. An excellent and unique collectors piece and a Must Have!!! This is framed in a deep box which measures 22" x 19" with a depth of 3.75". Each head is approximately 1.5" high.
