Peanuts Comic strip of Charlie Brown and Lucy Van Pelt. Very cute 'spring training' piece, dated March 7, 1967 on the same day "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown opened at Theatre 80 St Marks in Greenwich Village. Featuring a conversation between Team Manager and the Team Representative, with Lucy wishing Charlie 'the very best of luck in the new season'. And, in true Lucy fashion, after he has thanked her for her kind words, she says: "Speaking just for myself, may I say you're going to need it!" A wonderfully clever piece!! Framed, this piece measures 8.25"x29.5". Price is reflective of the art only--the piece comes with the frame pictured. There is no change in price due to the frame--it can be de-framed upon request at purchase but will not change the price of the piece.
There is a crease along the center of the strip between the 2nd and 3rd frame, which is common for original vintage comic strips. Signed by Charles Schulz.
US$ 15000 (framed) PSTOR1
