Hanna-Barbera (c.1970s) Production drawing of Hong Kong Phooey.
There is evidence of a pin hole 1.25" to the left of the character’s left foot. As pinning up work for evaluation was often part of the creative process, this is fairly common for this type of work. Some clear tape of 2.5" long has been applied to the back of the piece; at the upper edges by both corners, halfway down the right edge, and halfway across the lower edge which can be easily matted out. There is surface paper loss of 2.5" long halfway down the left edge that we suspect resulted from tape being removed; this can be easily matted out. There are some dark smudges along the upper and extreme right edges. Signed by Bill Hanna and Joe Barbera.
The size of this piece is 12 Field (11"x13") and the size of the image is 3.25" h x 4" w.
