This piece is the original artwork used for the cover of 'The Wounded and the Slain,' a novel by David Goodis. A story of a washed up marriage and a last chance to make things right. This story has been out of print for over 50 years, and Orbik captures the spirit beautifully in this moody piece, a lost novel by one of the greatest Pulp Novelists!
