Dr Seuss Character drawing of The Grinch. This is an amazingly large sized piece of this Grinchy of Grinches! The text in the top left corner reads: "for the men of the 101st Air Command, Fort Benning, Geo." The work of Theodore Seuss Geisel, or Dr. Seuss, quickly evolved from editorial cartoons to deft illustrations of elaborate imagination. Seuss' unique artistic vision emerged as the golden thread which linked every facet of his varied career. His artwork became the platform from which he delivered 44 children's books, over 400 World War II political cartoons,hundreds of advertisements, countless editorials, and numerous character drawings filled with wonderfully inventive animals and clever humor.
