Dr Seuss
Character drawing of The Grinch.

This artwork represents this character with the coveted red eyes and also beautifully full-figured in front of his cave, plotting to ruin Christmas for the poor Whos in Whosville.

The work of Theodore Seuss Geisel, or Dr. Seuss, quickly evolved from editorial cartoons to deft illustrations of elaborate imagination. Seuss' unique artistic vision emerged as the golden thread which linked every facet of his varied career. His artwork became the platform from which he delivered 44 children's books, over 400 World War II political cartoons, hundreds of advertisements, countless editorials, and numerous character drawings filled with wonderfully inventive animals and clever humor.
This artwork measures 10.75" x 6.75".

The paper has become slightly wavy, possibly due to the black ink and is only visible when examined closely..

Signed by Dr. Seuss (Theodor Geisel).

The size of the image is 7" h x 2.75" w.
