Dr Seuss Character drawing of Little Cat A. The work of Theodor Seuss Geisel, or Dr. Seuss, quickly evolved from editorial cartoons to deft illustrations of elaborate imagination. Seuss' unique artistic vision emerged as the golden thread which linked every facet of his varied career. His artwork became the platform from which he delivered 44 children's books, over 400 World War II political cartoons,hundreds of advertisements, countless editorials, and numerous character drawings filled with wonderfully inventive animals and clever humor. This piece measures 11" x 13.75". Toward the lower extreme bottom left edge, there is the slightest evidence of smudging, which can easily be matted out..
