Chuck Jones Studio Color model cel of The White Seal, Rikki-Tikki-Tavi and Mowgli's Brother. Three pre-production cels created from original character design drawings by Chuck Jones for his animated films produced in the 1970s, Mowgli’s Brothers, The White Seal and Rikki Tikki Tavi. Jones created these half hour television specials from Rudyard Kipling’s The Jungle Book (a collection of stories.) Jones said that Kipling’s daughter never liked the Disney version of her father’s story of Mowgli’s Brothers and always referred to Disney as ‘that Walter Disney.’ These cels were used by Chuck Jones, along with the storyboards, to sell the animated specials to sponsors.
