Other Studios Alley Oop Comic strip of ---. This original comic strip is from a 1956 Alley Oop comic, illustrated by its original creator, V.T. Hamlin. Alley Oop was originally created in 1932 and was a satire of American suburban life set in prehistoric times. 21" x 7" As pinning up comic strips for evaluation was often part of the creative process, this is fairly common for this type of work.
